Scleroderma, or systemic sclerosis, is a chronic connective tissue disease generally classified as one of the autoimmune rheumatic diseases.

The PURPOSE of the Southeast Florida Chapter is to:

  • HELP patients make contact with each other through Chapters, Newsletters and Workshops;
  • EDUCATE and INFORM the public about Scleroderma, its meaning and its consequences through a central base;
  • ENCOURAGE more awareness within the medical profession;
  • PROMOTE medical research toward finding a cause and cure;
  • ACCEPT donations, bequests, memorials and grants from our generous supporters.
